A Hint Of Truth

From the middle,

each end is far away

Somewhere in-between,

we learn how to pray.

In every story

there is a hint of truth

Behind every lie

is a mountain of proof.

It’s always during the cold lonely nights

That you find out what you’re missing.

I am missing you.

This is very nice, Mike. I heard a message from one of my fave pastors recently, about God meeting us in the “middle” of “whatever” challenge we’re encountering. Essentially, it’s that God will bring us through–for the Bible says He has promised to “finish the good work He’s begun in us”. He’s planned a good Destiny for each of us, and He’s not going to just leave us in the “middle”. And I also stopped by to wish you and your family a most Blessed Christmas, and healthy, Happy New Year!

So lovely! It felt like there are some hidden messages in your poem a reader could take home. I am taking some 🙂 Thank you!

A hint of truth TOTALLY reminds me of the women which impacted my life without literally driving over me with their cars. x-)

That is too funny! I laughed pretty hard when I read this. Thank you so much and I am glad none of them did drive over you!
Take care and I appreciate the comment.

Well, for me it became funny in retrospective, when those emotions healed… x-)

Oh, I do understand these things are painful. You just summed up some of my past relationships as well. We never fully heal, I guess. But we do learn.
        Thank you.

Yeah, but most weird, to me, was the anguish about the few women who were worth it, who made a real difference in my life… Like both knowing we botched it, but both trying to the very last moment nonetheless… In retrospective it only caused more mutual pain, still it was a lesson for both, and I would not like to miss it… Oh, and delete my blabbing, I spam your block already… x-)

The ones that are important have the most effect and endure the longest. Take care, and best wishes. You are more than welcome here.
