Admittedly, I was using a broad interpretation of the word music! Without lyrics music is a mood-only medium. I first got into music by taking my older brothers poems and putting them to a beat with some bongos and adding a creative melody! I never really had his nack for poetry, so I leaned more towards writing lyrics.

It would feel empty, I even occasionally with a song playing in my mind and those are my best days.

For me it would be like losing one of your major senses. Like you can no longer communicate using a common language you used to know thoroughly.
