What was your favorite subject in school?

Unfortunately for me, I changed schools often. So that depended on how good the teacher was in that particular subject.

That is good to hear. For some it can be very complicated but for others, there is a beauty in the simplicity of the balance on either side of an equal sign. It is a language all to its own, and for those who speak it, it can open the entire universe. I hope you are continuing your passion and still learning.

That is really cool. While I was unemployed for a short period of time I also did wireless network administration courses. I never completed because I got hired at a new job again but it helped me there as well. So much demand in this field! Thank you for your visit.

I don’t know that I had a favorite subject. My mother died in 1981 ( I was 13) and from then to probably until the age of 20 I spent my life in perpetual “what the fuck.” There is so much of that time that I don’t remember…and for probably a good reason. School was secondary to survival.

Too many children experienced death, separation, divorce and other trauma. It is hard to focus on things that don’t seem to have any impact on your current life. Perhaps though, you learned the most important lesson in survival. I really appreciate your experiences and your comments. Thank you for sharing.

  9. English because I changed schools a lot growing up and English was something I was great at no matter what kind of teacher I had, or what I may have missed while changing schools mid semester, which unfortunately happened a few too many times.

Good point! That was one subject where it was fairly easy to pick up where they left off!
Bouncing around like that is not easy, and it is hard to keep track of things in your control. You are your own teacher!

It is better to find a variety of interests from my perspective. Let the two halves support each other if you know what I mean. I really appreciate your comments.

A golden school life is a chapter filled with vibrant memories, lifelong friendships, and a kaleidoscope of experiences that shape individuals into who they are meant to become. It’s the tapestry of shared laughter in classrooms, the exhilaration of victories on the sports field, and the camaraderie forged during extracurricular pursuits. In the golden school life, each day is a canvas where curiosity is sparked, knowledge is acquired, and personal growth is nurtured. It’s about the teachers who inspire and the challenges that build resilience. From the bustling energy of the corridors to the quiet moments of self-discovery in the library, a golden school life is a mosaic of academic achievements, creative endeavors, and the discovery of one’s passions. It’s a time when mistakes are lessons, and every setback is an opportunity to learn. Ultimately, a golden school life is a journey of discovery, a treasure trove of memories, and a foundation for a future filled with promise and potential.

  32. I did well in English and Math all the way till pre-university, and then I did a BSc (Hons) Business Management. I did chess as an extra-curricular activity and won medals for my state in high school. I now write, invest, play chess, and create content full time. I have my own philosophy which I think is useful for everyone. And that is about it for me.

I can’t always say that the subject I did well in was a subject that was my favorite. Often I did well in tests and for homework, but really did not have an interest in the subject. Using extracurricular activities can fill in the gaps. Chess is always a good use of time.
      Thank you.

      • For me, I get very engaged in things that I am naturally good at and easily distracted when it comes harder to me. For example, I know certain non-fiction books are important to read but if my mind can’t focus enough to get the resolve to finish the book, I will go on Youtube and find out the key gist of the book.

Science, particularly chemistry – I was such a nerd! I used to go to the beach with my family and tell my poor mother that sand was mostly silicone dioxide, and I was so desperate for my bedroom to be painted “potassium permanganate purple”. It was not the subject that I would excel at, however. That was mathematics.
