What was your favorite subject in school?
Unfortunately for me, I changed schools often. So that depended on how good the teacher was in that particular subject.

I liked all my classes in high school because I was in a magnet school that taught pre-law related education. It was sad when I hit a major bout of depression and ended up leaving to go to a charter school because I started getting into trouble. But my favorite subject was English.

That was pretty much the way I was in school. And I changed schools often so that meant I changed teachers often as well lol. If the teacher had an interest in the subject I did great. There is nothing worse than learning math or music let’s say, from somebody who doesn’t know how to solve problems or write songs. Thanks for the visit!

Sounds like me. 13 Schools all together, some in Germany, some in Austria and some in America. My father was not in the military, but a conductor for orchestras.
I don’t remember the lessons as much as I remember a few teachers.
Though one of my favorite subjects in Germany, that I still make use of now, was typewriting!
I am so grateful for that because I am able to write as fast as my thoughts flow – and that is pretty great! All thanks to school, more than 20 years ago.

Whether you’re traveling for military reasons or conducting, it is still a difficult way to learn. Although conducting for an orchestra does sound cool. And I agree with you that the skills we learn early will continue to help or make life easier in the future. It is the simple things that can make a huge difference. And I probably remember the teachers more than the lessons too. Thank you for sharing your experience and your comment.

Research in general is a good thing if you continue to learn with the tools you have. As far as traffic is concerned, I am retired. And I understand that many people want to get as many likes shares and posts as they can.
Many people want to use blogs to sell their product or to make money. If you are selling something then I’m not the person to talk to. I give away all my music and all my pictures and all my poetry for free.
However, if you want some advice, if you are looking for traffic it is a numbers game. You need to contact as many people as possible and keep contacting them as often as possible. Some of those people may return many will not.
I am just a guy, not an expert. But I am not interested in how many views how many likes how many links my post create.
My posts are for me and the few people who may relate to them. They are not for numbers, ratings, or money.
I wish you luck in whatever your endeavors are.

aside from PE, I did enjoy Home Economics as it gave you a grounding in looking after yourself teaching you how to cook, iron, budget, sew etc. Although my parents I am sure were kind about some of the food I brought home such as squashed Lasagne.

Well done. Physical education is a great exercise for most students. And I agree with you, I also took home economics in school. I can sew my own clothes I do my own cooking and I have not found myself in deep financial debt! Too often we overlook simple tasks in day-to-day life. Thank you for your post, I appreciate your thoughts.

As an elementary teacher, my favourite subject is art because I can integrate math, language, social studies, or science into the lesson and activities in ways that really engaged young students.
LikeLiked by 2 people
Good for you. I think too often the subject is taught but we are offered no easy application or real-world use of the lesson. Through art, you can integrate various studies and subjects to peak and interest in the student. Thank you for your time and your post.

My favorite subject changes depending on what I’m learning about at that time, but normally I would say science.
I like science the best because my teacher is cool, and always teaches lot’s of different types of things throughout the year,. Once he taught art, another time fitness (not very sciencey, but it gives you some fun variety).

My favourite subject in school was learning a musical instrument. I learned to play the flute and loved every moment of it. When I buy my own home I will be buying my own flute to learn to play again as it’s been a long time since. Another couple favourite subject’s I loved learning in school would be photography and entrepreneurship classes.
