Who are your favorite artists?
I don’t really have a favorite visual artist, but Van Gogh is pretty cool.
Musical artists are easier: Peter Gabriel and Bjork top a long list.

At one time, Burton Cummings.
His songs spoke to me and carried me thru a very difficult time. Me and my dog, Shadow drove across Canada from BC to Ontario. In my brand new little car that had no radio. So, I put my cassette player on the passenger seat and played Burton Cummings’ tape – all the way – thru washed out roads, tremendous thunder storms, a mosquito plague, getting lost and my oil cap been left off to spray a cloud of oil all over my motor.
He was the Best, he was there all the way for me and my Shadow 😀

They just don’t make music – or cars – the way they used to lol! It is always delightful to hear stories from you. They remind me so much of me.

Ah yes, not sure whether it’s a good or bad thing – those old cars and music!
I did send Burton a fan letter before heading out, thanking him for inspiring me but sadly, no response 🫤
Now you got me thinking about that trip . . .
My car was a brand new Cavalier that I’d traded in my deceased husband’s corvette for. Because in the salesman’s words ‘It was a tired Corvette’ and I needed room for my luggage and my dog, Shadow.
