The moon is high
The river is wide
The feeling is right
Everything has its place.
Gorgeous colors
From Spring to Fall
Changes year to year
Each at their own pace.
The sky is blue
The sun is hidden
The grass is growing
Everything has its place.
We miss so much
Turning in circles
Looking for fortune
Everyone makes mistakes.
Itβs easy to do, Iβve done it too.
Everyone makes mistakes
Itβs easy to do, so will you,
Everyone makes mistakes.
this is beautiful…I love the play up of words…and I love the thought..

Very nice. Mistakes are tricky, making the same ones over and over often turns into habit.

Good point! I believe in the perfect practice makes perfect, but you can practice mistakes until they are perfect! Thank you!

I like this, a great reminder that no one is perfect, no matter how much we think we are, and without making those mistakes, what would we be.
Thankyou (X)

I joke at work that I have made every mistake possible. I try – and sometimes I fail. I worry about those that think it is too risky to even try. You are exactly right, and thank you!

“We miss so much, turning in circles”–how true, Mike! I think that a benefit of aging is that we are forced to turn a bit slower, perhaps catch up on some of what we’ve missed. That’s my focus today, instead of lamenting my lack of energy and that I can’t do as much as I did last year π It’s a week till Christmas–are you ready?

That is a good way of looking at it. I have been challenged to find the benefits when faced with lack of energy and moving slower (while there is still so much to do) but you are right, and if we have learned from doing…..
I am always ready, LOL! Safe holidays and Happy New Year.

Howdy! Unfortunately much of nature will be gone before enough people realize that. Have a great New Year as well!
