It’s like The Give And Take of breathing:
We need to do it all of the time.
You don’t have to look for hidden meanings:
Not every poem ends in a rhyme.

Some like coffee, but I prefer tea;
A glass of cool, clean water.
Want a drink, they have Coke or Pepsi.
That’s something I can’t give my daughter.

It’s The Give And Take of everything
That puts the pendulum to swing.
The Give And Take of everything
As each winter turns into spring.

The sun beats down on us all day long;
The moon enjoys hiding from its light.
Sometimes we want to join in on the song;
But screaming all at once isn’t right.

The way I hold you, how you hold me.
Give you all I have, you are all I need.
Never take advantage, help each other be free.
Creating our garden, planting new seed.

      Well thank you! We must have had similar experiences in life. Or maybe not…. observations and conclusions aren’t necessarily linked to our personal experiences.
      I assume you value honesty and balance – maybe not ‘blind’ loyalty; more of a fearless friendship for those in your life. Good for you if that is the case,
      and thanks for your time!
