Jesus Christ.
Have you ever read the Bible?
Jesus Christ.
Have you ever read the Bible?
I now see the infinite wisdom here.
God made us in his image and likeness
So we are told.
Angels are white and robed in gold
There are demons and that’s for sure.
Tempting us toward an unholy path
To steal your heart.
Man questioned how he might tell them apart
So he made one red, and another black.
Colors of hair and eyes and some stand tall
Now you can see.
The faces that belong here with thee
But what for the blind that cannot know
The wisdom of the lord from above?
To save them too.
Languages were created no one knew
It is so simple as to be part of my face
We just need a color-guided human race.
How thoughtful to make it so well known
Good and evil separated by the color shown
Your enemy is also made in his image.
And feels exactly the same way you do
Love conquers all.
As another peaceful day begins to fall
The Mighty Plan Part 2
From my Roman Catholic upbringing I think about religion a lot. I went to Catholic schools and attended church every Sunday, school days and holidays. I was an altar boy for years when we used Latin in our responses. I do not say we spoke it…. and dreamed of being a brother or priest. My favorite saint was Saint Francis of Assisi. He was considered to be somewhat of an outsider, but that was fine by me!
I couldn’t help myself. Looking around things just didn’t add up.
God is all knowing. God is kind and honest and good.
God sees all. God created the heavens and earth.
God knows what has been and what will be.
God is kind and gentle and loving.
WE are made in his image. WE shall rule the earth.
WE are the center of the universe
The earth fixed on its pillars does not move.
The sun and stars race across the sky for our entertainment.
The bible is presented as ‘the word of God’. Why would an
All-knowing being reference geocentric views that will be
disproven in a few short millennia? Is this God’s Mighty plan?
You might deflect by saying that god works in mysterious ways. Maybe.
It could be argued that these references are simplified stories to tell his children.
Sure.
But this is more than a point of view. Humans with little science and mathematics could not possibly know this to be true.
God would know if he made it. This would be one more in a long line of seemingly unbelievable tenants of faith. And when humanity achieved the technology sufficient to the task we would be affirmed in our beliefs. Instead, we see time after time the references in the bible and other teachings directly contradicting science. This is but one of many errors religious teachings present as fact.
The bible and counterparts were clearly not written by god or from his hand.
Was this the Mighty Plan? Does't this seem a little odd? Let me help you understand There never was a god.
My thoughts for the day. I planned on posting an image to demonstrate each line but there were too many choices so I leave that option to you.
God is good
People are awful.
God is kind
People are mean.
God is gentle
People are nasty.
God is forgiving
People hate forever.
God is all knowing
People are ignorant
God is all powerful
People are usually weak.
God is a mystery
People are predictable
God is courageous
People are cowardly
Was this the Mighty Plan?
Doesn’t that seem a little odd?
Let me help you understand
There never was a god.

Playing in the snow
Or climbing in the trees
Not sure which is the more
Important of these.
Siblings came but soon
The family was gone.
Hard to know what pain
Would be felt later on.
Safe and secure I
Always knew I was loved.
Learned hard lessons ’cause
I pulled instead of shoved.
Everything is everyone
Everyone is everything.
We all start the journey
From the place of our birth
But going to heaven or hell
Just brings us back to Earth.
Singing and writing
Playing in a great band
Gave me more than life
I hope you understand.
Truth may be out there
But answers never are.
That was the last time I prayed
Or wished upon a star.
We all start the journey
From the place of our birth
But going to heaven or hell
Just brings us back to Earth.
The day my kids were born
I was fundamentally changed.
Nothing I wouldn’t do
So life could be arranged
That’s another thing
That didn’t work as planned.
It ripped away everything
I still hope you understand.
We all start the journey
From the place of our birth
But going to heaven or hell
Simply brings us back to Earth.
Depression is a friend
Feeding on personal loss.
I’m told it comes down to “42”
But sure their fingers were crossed.
From here nothing matters
Save friendship, love and trust.
What more could you possibly need
When everything turns to dust?
What more could you possibly need
When everything turns to dust?

It is difficult to live in a world
Where those in power commit as many crimes in the name of faith as the poor in the name of survival. The powerful might be among the poor in church but they don’t cross paths in the prisons or become enslaved in debt.
It is difficult to live in a world
Built on privilege and inherited blessings that can last through the ages. Maybe at some point your ancestors did something right and earned – or stole – the fortunes you rely on. It is frightening to think how that power can be wielded with malice. If absolute power corrupts absolutely, imagine the impact of guaranteed absolute power your entire life.
It is difficult to live in a world
That allows greed and profit to drive one amazing creature after the other to extinction. Not so far away now there is a real possibility we will create mankind’s own doom. Weapons are easily financed. The world quickly filled with needy and desperate people living in cities of ash and poisoned air, but we will be the rulers of it all.
It is difficult to live in a world
You can only survive by closing your eyes and pretending ignorance is bliss. Knowledge is spreading and more accessible but even at this rate there is no way to keep up with propaganda, lies and distortions manufactured so easily today. Trust no one. Believe no one. Agree with no one. The powerful have won again, and will be rulers of it all.

Let’s say it like it really is.
We use so many words that hide what they are.
Wherever there is an imbalance
And desires are raised beyond reason.
We make everything sound fine.
Truth is where we look it’s not very pretty.
What appears to be the best things in life
Turns against us when we need it the most.
Guns, lies, love, faith, kindness and truth.
They are all weapons in the wrong hands.
Call them what you will but don’t turn your back:
They are all weapons in the wrong hands.
Guns have no power to do harm.
Before adoration or anger picks one up.
The empty lies should have no meaning
Until they come from someone we trust.
There’s nothing we won’t do for love.
No end to the crimes committed in blinding faith.
Murder is no more than taking a life
Unless it hides behind kindness and truth.
Guns, lies, love, faith, kindness and truth.
They are all weapons in the wrong hands.
Call them what you will but don’t turn your back:
They are all weapons in the wrong hands.
