Covid pandemic and the holidays in mind here. The verses are about most people dealing with the challenges they faced. The chorus is from a fictitious wealthy person’s point of view: who cares as long as it’s not me?
If the rest of the world weren’t so stupid and lazy they would be doing fine too.

Think of being part of a team with a goal. Plans are made and big steps taken, with all the resources in place, the game begins.
Only to find your team mate is not helping or doing their part. Everything crumbles into a slowly cascading tragedy. The fact that you love what you were aiming for confirms what the pain is telling you.
You could have had it all.

What foods would you like to make?
I would like to make foods based on needs of human populations. For example, zoos have special diets for animals in their care. What we need is something like ‘puppy chow’ for humans.
This would be a food to give away to those in need. Something that might be enough to keep hikers, astronauts and the poorest of us all healthy.

I often wonder what society is waiting for. When will we finally be equal? When will we finally do something about the environment, education, resources allocation and discrimination?
I can’t keep waiting without saying what needs to be said to everyone.
